Senior Quantity Surveyor Criteria: - 5 - 10 years Post-Graduate experience with a Main Contractor/ Developer.
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar area
- Experience on large construction projects with a Main Contractor/ Developer
- Commercial / Residential construction experience or similar
- Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
- Good communication skills
- 3 or 4 days on site
Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor - Reporting to the Commercial Manager
- Advise on contractual matters – general and project level
- Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost
- Undertaking internal valuations and production of cost reports
- Reporting on budgets and variations
- Negotiate and agree subcontractors
