Job Description: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: (Roles available in North and Southwest regions)
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for projects.
- Manage the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Oversee contract administration, including preparation and review of contract documents, variations, and claims.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
- Provide strategic advice on cost management and value engineering to optimize project efficiency.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports and progress updates to clients and senior management.
- Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors and support their professional development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills: - A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record in senior or leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
- Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including cost management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
