We are hiring for Senior Procurement Administrator for our client based in County Cork. This is an opportunity for growth with a step up into a Procurement Manager

This client is a professional construction, development and property management company which provides a comprehensive suite of services to both the public and private sectors. They build quality homes in new developments and also provides a complete project management service. They have experience in managing small scale domestic projects to large multi-million construction projects.

Location: Mallow, Co. Cork
Salary: 40k-50k

Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience as a procurement manager or procurement officer in a construction setting
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Full Drivers Licence
