About the role Seeking a Senior Health and Safety Consultant to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will oversee implementation of our clients' health and safety obligations across a range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, logistics, leisure, retail, and healthcare.
Location: Travel within Leinster
About you You will be experienced in providing quality health and safety consultancy services on various projects and services. You will be responsible for helping the existing health and safety consultants on projects with commercial awareness. You will help aid the health and safety team on compliance with health and safety regulations and carrying out site audits and preparing reports will be an integral part of your role. Having experience in mentoring junior members of the team will be essential to the success of this role. Understanding the construction design process will a key skillset for this position.
Skills and experience - Relevant third level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or engineering qualification with demonstrated relevant health and safety industry experience. - Experience in the roles of PSDP. - Preferably at least 3-7 years of post-graduate experience. - Ability to manage projects, manage their own time and take initiative on projects. - IOSH membership or in the process of joining a professional organisation representing your profession. - Self-motivation and proactive in a dynamic project environment. - High level of verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent communication and IT skills. - Excellent people management and project execution capability. - Full clean driving license. - Experience with accredited safety management systems an advantage.
