Job Title: Sales Negotiator
 
Summary:
The Sales Negotiator is responsible for managing and facilitating sales transactions from initial inquiry to completion. This role requires strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively bridge the gap between buyers and sellers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. The Sales Negotiator acts as a key point of contact, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the sales process.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Interaction:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients (buyers and sellers).
    • Understand client needs and requirements to match them with suitable properties or products.
    • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication.
    • Conduct viewings and property tours, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Negotiation and Sales:
    • Act as an intermediary between buyers and sellers, negotiating sales terms and conditions.
    • Secure offers and manage the negotiation process to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties.
    • Handle objections and resolve any issues that may arise during negotiations.
    • Advise clients on market conditions, pricing, and sales strategies.
    • Ensure all sales transactions comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Prepare and process sales agreements, contracts, and other necessary documentation.
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and property information.
    • Coordinate with solicitors, surveyors, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth transaction progress.
    • Update and maintain property listings and sales databases.
    • Following up leads.
  • Market Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date with market trends, property values, and competitor activities.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities.
    • Provide accurate and informed market appraisals.
  • Target Achievement:
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.
    • Proactively generate leads and build a strong client base.
    • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales or negotiation, preferably in real estate or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.  
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to sales transactions.  
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes.
Typical Educational Requirements:
  • While not always mandatory, a degree or diploma in business, marketing, or a related field can be advantageous.
  • Relevant industry certifications or training courses are also beneficial.
Typical Working Conditions:
  • Office-based with frequent travel for property viewings and client meetings.
  • May involve working evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules.
