We are hiring for Quality Manager for our client based in County Cork. This client is a professional construction, development and property management company which provides a comprehensive suite of services to both the public and private sectors. They build quality homes in new developments and also provides a complete project management service. They have experience in managing small scale domestic projects to large multi-million construction projects.
Location: Mallow, Co. Cork
Reports To: Project Director/Construction Manager
Job Summary: The Quality Manager will oversee and manage the quality assurance and quality control processes for residential development projects. This role ensures that all construction activities meet the company’s quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review and approve construction plans, specifications, and materials for quality assurance.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and KPIs.
- Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality management practices.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and third-party inspectors.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQM) is a plus.
