What’s the Opportunity?
We have an opening for a Quality Manager to join our team and assist us in ensuring we fulfil our promise to plan, communicate and deliver projects of highest standard with an emphasis on safety, sustainability and quality. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes across all areas of our business. The successful candidate will maintain the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) with a focus on integrating Procore (Construction Project Management Software) into the system. The role will ensure that Construction Projects meet regulatory requirements, client specifications and company standards. The Quality Manager will work closely with the EHS team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and facilitate the effective use of Procore to manage quality processes across all construction sites.
 

Roles & Responsibilities: Procore Integration:
• Lead the integration of Procore software into the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop and customise Procore templates, workflows, and reporting tools to align with company-specific quality requirements.
• Train project teams on using Procore for quality inspections, document control, and issue management.
• Monitor and maintain the effectiveness of Procore in managing quality control processes across all projects.
• Ensure that Procore is fully utilised for real-time quality tracking, reporting, and documentation across construction projects. Quality Management System (QMS):
• Oversee and continuously improve the company's QMS to meet ISO 9001:2015. This will involve working closely with our EHS Manager for 45001 and 14001 standards.
• Develop and continuously improve the company’s ISMS system to ensure it meets the requirements of ISO 27001.
• Set quality objectives, performance metrics, and targets aligned with project goals.
• Ensure all projects comply with building regulations, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits to verify compliance with QMS and ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions. Quality Assurance & Control:
• Establish and Prepare Site Specific Quality Plans.
• Establish and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) to ensure quality compliance throughout all project stages.
• BCAR Management

Ensure all documentation, inspections, and certifications related to BCAR are accurately completed and maintained.
o Support the coordination of BCAR inspections and audits, including liaising with assigned certifiers and local authorities.
o Track and monitor compliance milestones, ensuring timely submission of required documentation.
 

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to identify quality issues and develop solutions.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Coordinate and oversee quality inspections, testing, and commissioning with subcontractors and third-party inspectors.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality-related issues and lead initiatives to resolve them.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, project stakeholders, and clients.
• Ensuring the Project Specific Safety File / O&M Manuals requirements are met.
• Monitoring the closeout of issues and defects.
• Stay informed about industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to quality management in construction.

Team Leadership:
• Promote a "Right First Time" culture within project teams.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organisation and among subcontractors.
• Collaborate with site and installation teams to evaluate the effectiveness of quality control procedures. Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with project managers, site managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are understood and met.
• Serve as the main point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues from clients, regulatory bodies, and auditors.
• Facilitate quality-related meetings, including audits, site inspections, and pre-construction quality planning. Documentation & Reporting:
• Manage and maintain all quality documentation in Procore, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and certifications.
• Ensure all quality-related records are properly filed, accessible, and up to date in Procore for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Generate and distribute periodic quality performance reports based on Procore data analytics.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field preferable but not essential.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
 
 
Experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Procore software.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff and sub-contractors.
• Experience in implementing and managing digital systems for quality control.
• A strong commitment to promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
