Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Auditor/Inspector for one of Ireland’s leading general building contractors to ensure construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Responsibilities:
Conduct site inspections to ensure materials, workmanship, and processes meet project specifications and regulations.
Perform quality audits and verify adherence to building codes, health, and safety standards.
Identify defects, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain inspection records, prepare quality reports, and communicate findings to management.
Collaborate with project teams and provide training on quality standards.
Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
Requirements:
Degree/diploma in construction, civil engineering, or related field.
3+ years’ experience in quality inspection/auditing in construction.
Strong knowledge of Irish construction codes and standards.
Proficiency in reading technical documents and using quality tools/software.
Certifications in ISO 9001, CQI, or similar are a plus.
