Key responsibilities: - Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets
- Help with cost control, monitoring, and reporting of projects
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and compare against project schedules
- Measure and value work done on-site, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Assist with procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Work closely with senior quantity surveyors and project managers
- Prepare and submit payment applications and invoices
Qualifications: - Relevant Third level in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively
Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
- Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD or similar
