Job Description: Junior Construction Project Manager
Leading Mechanical Services Engineering company
Location: Galway Office/On-site

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination: Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical services projects from inception to completion.
Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project budgets, costs, and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Procurement: Support the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
Site Oversight: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Risk Management: Identify and address potential project risks and issues, escalating them to senior management as needed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes.

Key Requirements

Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
- Familiarity with mechanical services or MEP projects is a plus but not essential.
Education: Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of construction processes, schedules, and budgets.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is advantageous.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
