Position Summary:
Join our team as a Health & Safety Officer focused on ensuring safety and well-being in the construction sector (Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Healthcare and General Building sectors). As a pivotal member of our team, you will actively contribute to enhancing operations and cultivating a safety-conscious culture.

Responsibilities:
 Conduct comprehensive risk assessments
 Investigate incidents thoroughly and report findings accurately to facilitate continuous improvement.
 Develop and deliver employee training programs to promote safety awareness and compliance.
 Perform regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
 Create and maintain health and safety documentation, meticulously logging all relevant information.
 Ensure compliance with current safety regulations and collaborate with departments to address safety concerns effectively.
 
Key Skills Required:
 Excellent proficiency in English, particularly in report writing and statement acquisition.
 Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various departments and managers.
 Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, with occasional liaison with company directors.
 
Qualifications:
 Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Occupational Safety and Health Management (Level 8) or equivalent.
 3-5 years of relevant experience demonstrating a track record of operational improvement and increased safety awareness.
 Advantageous qualifications include certification as a Manual Handling or Abrasive Wheel instructor trainer, along with First Aid Training.
 Previous experience in water, electricity, or telecoms civils utilities works is advantageous.
 Possession of relevant certifications such as Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and a full driving license.
