About the role We are seeking a health and safety consultant to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will oversee implementation of our clients' health and safety obligations across a range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, logistics, leisure, retail and healthcare.
Location: Travel within Leinster/Hybrid About you You will be experienced in providing quality health and safety consultancy services on various projects. Your responsibilities will include supporting the existing health and safety team in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Experience acting as Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP). Conducting site audits, preparing reports, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of health and safety standards across projects will be integral parts of your role.
Skills and experience - Relevant third level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or engineering qualification with demonstrated relevant health and safety industry experience. - Preferably at least 2 years of post-graduate experience. - IOSH membership or in the process of joining a professional organisation representing your profession. - Self-motivation and proactive in a dynamic project environment. - High level of verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent communication and IT skills. - Excellent people management and project execution capability. - Full clean driving license. - Experience with accredited safety management systems an advantage.
