We are hiring for an EHS Advisor for our Civil Engineering Client.
The ideal candidate will ensure that Company practices and procedures are being adhered to within the work place, coinciding with current legislation, Company policies, procedures, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditation acquired by the Company.
Role Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in setting up training sessions, prepare paperwork, and file paperwork when complete
- Work effectively both on-site and office - based
- Assist in the preparation and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Support the delivery of Toolbox Talks and contribute to health and safety discussions on-site
- Work closely with Project Management teams to ensure all health and safety documentation is maintained and up to date
- Maintain ISO Standards
- Promote a strong safety culture on site
- Identify and assess site-specific hazards, ensuring appropriate control measures are implemented
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and accident investigations as required
- Gain hands-on experience across multiple projects, progressing towards a more roving advisory role over time
Requirements: - Full driver's license
- Experience or placement within a similar role in Construction
- Level 6 or higher education in Health & Safety
