I'm currently hiring for one of Ireland's leading contractors who are on the lookout for a Contracts Manager in the Dublin area.

• Responsibility for delivering commercial performance on projects.
• Be responsible for projects from Tender through to Completion.
• Responsibility for health and safety excellence and promote the companies culture across projects.
• Responsibility for environmental performance on projects.
• Direct responsibility for leading and motivation of project teams.
• Ensuring that the client requirements are being met on projects.
• Responsibility for identification and minimisation of key risks and opportunities on projects.
• Promote innovative and best practice construction methodologies on projects.
• Be responsible for budgeting and cost control on projects.
• Attend monthly and quarterly cost review meetings.
• Attend regular management meetings.
• Lead regular meeting with project teams, clients/customers and other key stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

• Possess an Engineering or Construction Honours Degree.
• A considerable amount of experience in the construction industry on large scale projects.
• Be capable of managing a number of major projects concurrently.
• Be committed to driving health and safety culture on projects.
• Have proven track record in delivering excellent commercial results on projects.
• Be capable of leading project teams to deliver to programme and budget.
• Have tendering experience in major civil engineering projects.
• Be driven and enthusiastic.
• Have good technical knowledge of major civil engineering projects.
• Have excellent contract awareness.
• Possess good problem-solving skills.
• Be an excellent communicator.
• Contribute to the business development and establishment/maintaining of customer relationships.
