Assistant Project Managers I'm dealing with a Client who are one of Ireland's leading contractors who are on the lookout for an Assistant Project Manger to take part in one of their projects in Limerick.
Duties will include:
Keeping the project stakeholders informed of progress, cost and any other relevant issues.
Oversee the tender and contractor / consultant appointment process
Chair and minute project review meetings.
Ensuring that all buildings, services, and equipment under their control are adequately maintained in accordance with approved maintenance programmes.
Ensure smooth and timely flow of information between all parties to the contract.
Endeavour to identify and predict potential bottlenecks and delays and action remedies.
Agree valuations and final accounts for contractors and consultants.
Monitor build and material quality.
Ensure contractor and consultancy contractual compliance.
Assist in the front-end design planning and procurement of other projects within our client’s portfolio.
Requirements
Level 8 Degree in Engineering or Construction related
Have a minimum of 3 years engineering experience with a contractor or consulting engineers
Have a knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement methodologies.
Have a proven track record of seeing projects through to their successful completion.
